| Description |
All of my eclipse images were taken with this telescope, a William Optic Mengrez 110, 110mm f/5.95 refractor on a celestron CGEM II mount. I used a Baader white light solar filter over objective and a 12nm FWHM hydrogen beta filter in front of camera. Looking on was an eclipse watcher named Phil, an 84 year old gentleman who brought his own telescope and camera from San Antonio to photograph the eclipse. Phil was a West Point Class of 1961 graduate who retiired from the army as Major General. |
